OK, with this next section, please note this was all Nico's idea. Maya told me to take a picture of myself because it looks like I have the devil's eyes. I do not know from whence this comes.

Not too sure what they are up to, but Maya requested a picture of their shenanigans! Just getting the fire started...

This is how we hang! Usually we're in the shade, but it's nice here... river sounds abound as the rocks and water splash splash splash... A teenage kid and his mom cruised by, took the same path, he was fishing, she had a nice camera. We chatted. They walked upstream for quite a while.

Rolled in to Mystery Cave campground at 2:30 pm, set up the tent in the C loop, #67 & walked around looking for the spot we used last year but we couldn't find the path. We asked someone over in the B loop and a map was produced with a rather long looking path to the creek. We took it and it's similar to our spot in that you can set up on a 3 inch deep spot in the rocks, but otherwise not the same. Deeper water and it's a sand/rock bar out in middle of the creek, so I had to carry the kids over to the spot through 2 feet deep water. It's a lovely spot, just with our spot from last year you can have the rocks right off the shore, so the access is better. You can leave stuff on the shore to easily access it. Turns out the creek access we sought is off the B loop by site #35, towards the bathrooms. From the C loop, cross over to the B loop at the C loop's bathrooms. Easy peasy, we though #34 was pretty nice with quick access, but with our new technology addition this year, it doesn't matter where you camp....
