Both kids requested this picture and when they looked at it, Nico had an idea!
First we had to pump up the fire so the flames get higher and higher. This could have come from their musical request of a fire song. I played Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire.
Cooking wood

The kids developed a little running joke at the campsite.
Nico: What do we have to cook Dad?
Dad: Nothing, it's all pre-cooked. What do you want?
Nico: Something cooked.
Maya: We have something to cook Dad!
Nico: Yeah, Dad, we can cook wood!
Nico and Maya burst into laughter. It was hilarious and only got funnier and funnier as they repeated it over and over and over again.

OK, with this next section, please note this was all Nico's idea. Maya told me to take a picture of myself because it looks like I have the devil's eyes. I do not know from whence this comes.
