My oh my what a carnival this year. This is my 3rd one in 4 years, the social event of the year is how the kids think of it. Super cool vacation stories run rampant with Monday evening scoldings of BAD DAD when all the kids are talking about the carnival.
Clearly Daddy went a little overboard with Maya this year, but with Nico having so many friends to play with... Maya and I hung out at the start and I steered her towards the stuff she loves and did some of last year - a braid, hair color (Rainbow of course), hair extensions, princess crown. $16 no problem, add on a full-face tiger paint job for a Lincoln and we have a happy carnival camper! Worth. Every. Penny.

Hilarious! Maya totally cracked me up on this one.
A) The waaaaay over done Tiger Princess gig, but then she sees this pirate eye patch on the ground. She looks up at me and I gave her the I don't care shrug. She picks it up and slaps it on.
I chuckled and asked for a picture and after two fake smiles, she gives me this "Arrrgggghhh" with a growl and a good fist pump for exclamation! Too funny! This was way late in the day, last half hour. We left just peak carnival.
She was fun all day! My little Tiger Princess Pirate!
