Laura is our friend who emphatically encouraged us to get a pregnancy test at Walgreens about 4 days before we thought we should. So we did, and it was positive (in 1.4 seconds), so we called her first with the news.

And we've never doubted Laura since.

Laura's daughter, Maggie, was born about 7 weeks before Nico. Maggie, like Nico, is clearly a very advanced baby, and showed us many of her tricks -- she rolled over with ease, reached right out and grabbed her toys, and read us a passage from Pride and Prejudice.
